Murakami

April 23rd, 2008 by ninja

Continuing our spring break activities, we met up with the Litt-Cole’s at BMA to see the Murakami exhibit. Mika got a bit scared by the animations in the screening room, but generally enjoyed the art a lot. Tobin just enjoyed being in the company of 3 great girls in matching fishie dresses. Of course, we had to go for a stroll in the Botanical Garden as well … the cherry blossoms are officially at “first bloom”. If the temperatures hit 80°F tomorrow, they might peak as early as this weekend.

How did you manage to sneak in a photograph? Eric tried but was given a stern ‘no’. Ines just loved the mushroom figures, calling them, ‘Daddy, Mommy, Baby I, Chloe’

The guards are *everywhere* and i got a couple of stern ‘no’s as well. However, i seized the moment when there was no guard in sight right at the media room entry (the semi-dark alley behind the wall). Took a little tweaking to get the colors back to what you see above. I would’ve loved to take a photograph of the flower sculpture though – Mika’s favorite. At least they let people snap away in the lobby … that’s where we got the goofy balloon shot.
