Here are Mika’s official school pictures from Kindergarten.
Now that Mika entered big kid school, we’re going to get these timeless group shots every year throughout elementary school. Don’t they look exactly like the ones you got when you were little? Even in Baltimore? Or Hamburg?

I posted these last night and couldn’t ask my parents to scan one in from my elementary school. It would have to be from 1st grade though, since that is the beginning of public school in Germany. Maybe i’ll update later this weekend…

Sooki: my first grade picture was taken in December, so i was 6 3/4 years old … and Mika is just about to turn 5 right now! That’s a substantial age difference, but i posted it anyway since it’s the oldest class picture i have available.

Schweet! Look at you Ninjette.. you were already tall and lanky there as a kid, hee hee… Love the outfit!! Is that a round necklace in the middle of your sweater? Love the flower patches on your knees…

Actually, that’s the white center of a red flower on my shirt. The old photo is pretty reddish overall and after forcing the colors back to a more natural spectrum, the minor differences in reds are not visible anymore. But my mom had sewn flowers on both my pants and shirt. 70’s at their best :)
