Spring Break (Coming Soon)
Today was the last day of Mika’s Spring Break and i wanted to give a little update: both kids stayed at home with Daddy all of last week, while i made a quick dash to Germany to celebrate Omi Hilde’s 89th birthday. At first, the kids were a little bummed that they couldn’t fly out to Germany as well, but we found a good solution: their little bunnies traveled with me as representatives (well documented), and Halmoni & Harabogi visited from Baltimore for 3 days of family fun in Brooklyn (not documented).
The bunny pictures will end up in a book for the kids and hopefully i’ll be able to post some highlights in the next days when i am finished editing.
UPDATE on June 19, 2010: you can download the pdf of the book here. Unfortunately, i don’t know how to set up a pdf to show spreads (instead of single pages), so the experience is a bit different. Still, 11+ MB of bunny cuteness :)

Was für eine schöne Idee! Ich hoffe, du hattest ein paar entspannte Tage in Hamburg? Wir waren über Ostern bei meiner Schwester Eva, und Robin hat es genossen, so richtig viele (drei) Kinder sowie deren Bagger etc. zum Spiele zu haben. Das richtig sonnige Osterwetter ist hier allerdings jetzt erst angekommen … Habt ihr eigentlich schon Pläne für den Sommer? Liebe Grüße von Sophie

Sophie: ich war fast die ganze Zeit in Bremen, aber wir hatten es sehr gemütlich. In Hamburg dann nur 24 Stunden, aber es fühlte sich länger an (mit Osterfeuer und Osterfrühstück)
Wir planen, im August wieder rüberzukommen, dann aber mit Hasen UND Kindern. Ich gebe Dir die genauen Reisedaten durch, wenn ich gebucht habe.
