Father’s Day

We celebrated Father’s Day early at Choo Choo Train with a breakfast, a special t-shirt designed by Mika and some choreographed line dancing with all of the kids. It was a special treat playing in the garden with all of the kids and other dads.

Just to clarify:
‘Father’s Day’ in the U.S. is always celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June (June 15 in 2008)
‘Vatertag’ in Germany is always celebrated on ‘Christi Himmelfahrt’ (Ascension Day, 39 days after Easter Sunday), which fell on May 1st, 2008.
