On his last day in Brooklyn, Uncle Joe gave Tobin an early birthday present. And what a present it was! The Hot Wheels starter package included a manual launcher, a loop, a jumping ramp, lots of tracks, and a gravity clamp to fasten the starting point on a higher level. It was love at first sight and expanded Tobin’s horizon past the world of heavy duty construction into the universe of daredevil races. Mika reluctantly let Tobin have more than his usual allotment of turns, and he – for once – could play like an only child.

funny coincidences across the atlantic; arthur’s toy of the moment is Hot Wheels (sharkbite bay and trixtracks, and audrey’s is the Mini-micro scooter! My vocabulary has expanded greatly, no??!!

Hot Wheels are definitely a classic we had coming, and the mini micro scooters are taking over the world by storm. Rightfully so, as there is no other scooter that is as easy/safe to master from 2+ years and up. Mika loves the big kid version as well.
I am surprised your kids are on scooters though, as i have yet to see any flat asphalt road in your pictures ;-)
