Pepparkaka Hus

Thanks to IKEA, making a gingerbread house doesn’t have to turn into an all-day production. Once the kids are bigger, it might be fun to come up with some custom architecture – but using the prefab set has been working perfectly fine for us. Also note the beautiful tree the kids picked with Sung this past Friday. We decorated it over the weekend and suddenly, it feels a lot more like December around here…

Do they get to eat them later? I forget if it’s all about just building it… Very Christmassy at the von Changs :) We will get out tree today!!

They get to pick one candy per day, but they ask about eating candy ALL THE TIME. Did you see the house Sabine and Bru did from the same set? Sabine’s roof and writing turned out spectacular – a lot more delicate than the kids’ handiwork ;-)
If i ever get to free up enough time, i would love to make my own house from scratch and give it a very different shape.

Yes, i saw it, it really got me tempted to go to IKEA and buy one for us too… but i think Lukas is a bit too young and he will just end of crying if i say he can’t eat it… :P
Would be so much fun if you, me + Sabine could just sit and chat and make a ginger bread house no?!!!
