Century of the Child

September 7th, 2012 by ninja

On Labor Day, we met Team Nara at MoMA to check out Century of the Child. Unfortunately, photography past the title installation was prohibited, but i captured a short (undercover) video clip of the kids having fun with Philip Worthington’s Shadow Monsters. Sung would have loved to play with Tinker Toy’s miniature “Curtain Wall Builder“…

    Thanks, Sooki :)
DVF on super sale … about time i start embracing more color, no? Just got a mustard-yellow jeans, which goes awesome with all my black/white tops. This ol’ gal is learning new tricks…

Ah the love sculpture. I am thinking of doing our holiday card shot there this year, but cannot think of a time when it’s not crowded…

Perhaps Sunday morning, bright and early? You’ll need to research if the light will be right at that time on the *legible* side of the sculpture though. As for the tourists: if the camera is on a tripod, you could take a few extra (matching) shots of the sculpture if somebody photo-bombed your favorite frame. That’s legitimate post production for a Holiday card ;-)
